今週は、ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシー。宇宙の映画なのになぜかアライグマが出てきて何だかちょっと一風変わった映画、気になった映画ファン多いんじゃないかな？

そのアライグマの声優は２０１２年公開の『世界にひとつのプレイブック』でジェニファー・ローレンスと共演して第８５回アカデミー主演男優賞にノミネートされたブラッドレイ・クーパー。

緑色の女の人も特徴的だよね。彼女はガモーラ。『アバター』で青色の女の人を演じたゾーイ・サルダナが今度は緑色の女の人になっているというのも面白い。

樹木みたいな巨人はグル―ト。グルートの声優はアクション俳優のヴィン・ディーゼルが演じているよ。

主役が最後になっちゃったけど、ガーディアンズのリーダー、クイルを演じるのはクリス・プラットだ。最近の映画では、『ゼロ・ダーク・サーティ』、『her／世界でひとつの彼女』などに出演している男優さんだね。

物語は、全員が犯罪歴をもつというお尋ね者たちがチームを組んで、銀河滅亡の危機を阻止する戦いに巻き込まれていくというもの。さて、どんな英語の表現や英単語が登場するかな。今週は、ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシー、いってみよう～！

In 1988, following his mother's death, a young Peter Quill is abducted from Earth by the Ravagers, a group of space pirates led by Yondu Udonta.

Twenty-six years later on the planet Morag, Quill steals an orb, after which he is intercepted by Korath, a subordinate to the fanatical Kree, Ronan.

Although Quill escapes with the orb, Yondu discovers his theft and issues a bounty for his capture, while Ronan sends the assassin Gamora after the orb.

When Quill attempts to sell the orb on the Nova Empire capital world, Xandar, Gamora ambushes him and steals it.

A fight ensues, drawing in a pair of bounty hunters: the genetically engineered raccoon Rocket, and the tree-like humanoid Groot.
